After a first edition that drew about 1,200 families, the Keynes Festival returns on November 7, 2026, with a free event open to the public. It’s an opportunity to experience school life and reflect on empathy, emotions, and relationships—the very qualities that make the Keynes Institute the School of Empathy.
From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., children and teens can participate in Active Learning workshops, which are free but require advance registration. The school will reopen at 3:30 p.m. to welcome families and present its educational program.
Starting at 5:00 p.m., the theater will host two sessions for adults: Valentina Paolucci, author of *La Dottoressa dei bambini*, will discuss smartphone use during childhood; Stefano Rossi, a educational psychologist and author of *Adolescenti esplosivi*, will address the emotions, conflicts, and vulnerabilities of adolescence. These sessions are also free with advance registration, which must be made separately from the workshops.
A celebration to enjoy together and an opportunity to reflect on how we can support young people as they grow up.
