INFORMATION pursuant to Art. 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 679/2016 We wish to inform the users of this site that the Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018, Code on the Protection of Personal Data and EU Regulation 679/2016 - provides for the protection of persons and other subjects with regard to the processing of personal data (received for example by e-mail or registration forms).According to the indicated legislation, this processing will be based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency and protection of your privacy and your rights. In accordance with Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018 and EU Regulation 679/2016, therefore, we provide you with the following information:

You may exercise, in accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of EU Regulation No. 2016/679, the right to: a) request confirmation of the existence or otherwise of your personal data; b) request access to your personal data and information about them, obtain information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed and, when possible, the storage period (Art. 15 GDPR); c) to request from the data controller access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning him or her or to object to its processing (Art. 16-17-18 GDPR); d) obtain portability of data, i.e., receive them from a data controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and transmit them to another data controller without hindrance (Art. 20 GDPR); e) object to processing at any time and also in the case of processing for direct marketing purposes (Art. 21 GDPR); f) object to automated decision-making related to natural persons, including profiling (Art. 21-22 GDPR); g) withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation (Art. 7 GDPR); h) lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), referring to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (http://www.garanteprivacy.it).

The modalities for exercising all rights are set out, in general terms, in Articles 11 and 12 of EU Regulation No. 2016/679. The deadline for a written response to the data subject - including a denial - is one month (including the right of access). It is up to the data controller to determine, after the first copy or for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, the financial contribution to be requested from the data subject for the rights of access, issuance of copies, rectification, portability, restriction of processing, and deletion of data. The right to obtain a copy of data must never infringe the rights and freedoms of others. When prompted by the automated contact form, to consent to the processing of your personal data, you must check the relevant confirmation.  

PRIVACY POLICY ADOPTED BY KEYNES INSTITUTE The KEYNES INSTITUTE (hereafter INSTITUTE) located in Via Marchese Ugo, n. 6-90141 - Palermo PA P.IVA: 03405550835 scuoleinternazionali@legalmail.it, respects the privacy of its users and is committed to protecting the personal data they give to the INSTITUTE. In general, the user can browse the INSTITUTE website without providing any kind of personal information. The collection and processing of personal information occurs, when necessary, in connection with the performance of services requested by the user, or when the user himself decides to communicate his personal information; in such circumstances, this privacy policy explains the methods and characters of collection and processing of the user's personal information. The INSTITUTE processes personal data provided by users in accordance with current legislation.  

Collection of Personal Data

Personal data means any information that can be committed to identify an individual, company or other entity. For example, but not limited to, first and last name, electronic mail address [e-mail], address, a mailing address or other physical address, other information necessary to contact the user, job title, date of birth, gender, job, business, personal interests, other information necessary for the provision of services requested by the user is collected.  

Navigation data

Navigation on the INSTITUTE's site is done anonymously, unless the user has previously specified that he/she wishes the INSTITUTE, only for navigation of restricted areas, to remember not only the identifier under which he/she registered assigned by the system administrator, but also the corresponding password, which is sent to the applicant's e-mail address and not to the knowledge of the site administrator. The INSTITUTE does not perform user data collection operations by automated means, including the e-mail address [e-mail]. The INSTITUTE records the user's IP address (Internet Protocol, i.e., the Internet address of the user's computer) in order to get an idea of the area of the site that the user visits and the duration of the visit, in accordance with current legislation on the protection of personal data (data used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its proper functioning and are deleted immediately after the operation. The data may be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site). In addition, the INSTITUTE does not relate the user's IP address to any other personal information relating to the same except after duly informing the user of the relevant processing and obtaining his or her consent to the processing, and only with respect to users registered in the restricted areas of its site. Like many other websites having a service-oriented character and content, the INSTITUTE website may employ a standard technology called "cookies" to collect information about how the user uses the site. Data voluntarily provided by the user

The INSTITUTE collects the user's personal data when the user registers in order to assign a USER CODE and password, to issue an account, necessary for the user to take advantage of certain products or services offered by the school. In particular, registration is necessary for the user to be able to access Restricted Areas, to participate in the forum, to take advantage of chat, to be able to send messages to other subscribers, to post comments to news items, when the user requests to receive certain e-mails or to be included in a mailing list, or when the user, for any other reason, communicates his/her data to the INSTITUTE. The INSTITUTE uses such information only where it has been lawfully collected in accordance with this Policy and in compliance with applicable law. It is further emphasized that Some web services of the site involve the optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on the site, which entails the acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information (disclaimers) can be viewed with appropriate links on the pages of the site set up for particular services on request (such as the contact page). The processing of sensitive or judicial data provided by the user in the body of the e-mail is also indicated.  

Disclosure of Personal Data

If personal data is collected, the INSTITUTE will inform the user of the purpose of the collection at the time of collection, and where necessary, seek the user's consent. The INSTITUTE will not disclose the user's personal data to third parties without the user's consent, except in the limited circumstances specified below in the "Scope of Disclosure and Dissemination of Personal Data" Section. The INSTITUTE will send the user material related to information activities and market research only after informing the user and obtaining the user's consent to the processing, in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.  

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that some websites send to the user's hard drive when the user visits the site. A cookie can contain information such as a user ID that the site uses to check the pages visited, but the only personal information a cookie can contain is information provided by the user. The INSTITUTE uses only technical cookies, which are necessary for the operation of the site itself.  

Purposes and Methods of Processing of Data Collected

The INSTITUTE processes the user's personal data for the following general purposes: to fulfill requests to specific products or services; to update the user on the latest news in relation to the INSTITUTE's services or other information that is believed to be of interest to the user and that comes directly from the INSTITUTE; to better understand the user's needs and offer the user better services. The processing of user's personal data by the INSTITUTE for the purposes specified above is done in accordance with the current legislation on the protection of personal data.  

Scope of communication and dissemination of personal data

The user's personal data are not disclosed outside the INSTITUTE's organization without the consent of the data subject, except as specified below. As part of the INSTITUTE's organization, the data are stored in controlled servers to which limited access is allowed in accordance with current legislation protecting personal data. The INSTITUTE may disclose the user's personal data to third parties in any of the following cases: when the data subject has given his/her consent to the communication; when the communication is necessary to provide the product or service requested by the user; when the communication is necessary in connection with third parties working on behalf of the INSTITUTE to provide the product or service requested by the user (the INSTITUTE will only communicate to them the information that is necessary in connection with the provision of the service, and they are prohibited from processing the data for other purposes); to provide the user with information that the INSTITUTE deems necessary to know from the INSTITUTE itself and other entities related to it (at any time the user may request to stop receiving this type of information). The INSTITUTE will also disclose the user's personal information if required to do so by law.  

User Rights: User Account

If you are a registered user, to request deletion of your account or any of your other personal information, you must send an email to the person responsible for managing/updating the site (webmaster).

Data Security

Account information is password protected to ensure user confidentiality and security. The INSTITUTE takes all physical, electronic and organizational security measures and procedures required by applicable law. Although the INSTITUTE does everything reasonably possible to protect the user's personal data, the INSTITUTE cannot guarantee the complete security of the user's personal data during communication, so the INSTITUTE warmly urges the user to take all precautionary measures to protect his/her personal data when browsing the Internet. For example, the user is urged to change his/her password often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure to make use of a secure browser.  

Minors and privacy.

The INSTITUTE website is also designed for use by children under 18 years of age as it presents purely educational and cultural content. Therefore, the INSTITUTE does not require the user to be of legal age when registering.  

Third-party sites

The INSTITUTE's Web site contains links to other sites. The INSTITUTE does not share your personal information with these sites and is not responsible for their practices in relation to the protection and processing of personal data. The INSTITUTE encourages you to review the privacy policy of such sites to learn about how such third-party websites process and collect your personal data.  

Changes to the privacy policy

The INSTITUTE will amend this privacy policy if it becomes necessary or by changes in the law or if the INSTITUTE materially changes how it processes your personal data.
